DISCOVERY THE CUEVA DE LOS TAYOS
In
the sixties of the last century, Hungarian Argentine researcher Juan Móricz
became the first, enter in the Cueva de los Tayos a cavern or a network of
caves of enormous dimensions, located in the region of Morona Santiago in the
Ecuadorian jungle.
After
traveling a large number of tunnels, Móricz as expected claimed to have found a
series of rooms filled with statues by chance a series of rooms filled with
statues and other objects of different shapes, colors and materials.
In
1969, Móricz decided to make known to the world these wonders and so she
proceeded with the greatest care. In order to ensure the legal rights of the
finding, first thing he did was to inform in writing thereof to the Government
of Ecuador. Weeks later, the President authorized an expedition official record
of the discovery of the Cueva de los Tayos.
Now,
twenty-two years after the death of Móricz There is no doubt that the life of
the Explorer of the Tayos It was so mysterious and interesting as the cave
itself.
To
the latter belong the Cueva de los Tayos, with the particularity that this
geological formation has surprisingly sandstone rock that makes it unique in
Ecuador and in the region of South America.
Moricz
claimed to have accidentally found in the depths of the Cueva de los Tayos, a
cavern in which had engraved metal sheets a cavern in which had engraved metal

This
geological formation has fueled the belief of many of those who are inclined, to
think that this space was made by the hand of man, or even other unknown
beings.
